Revisiting the Definition of Marriage

I have had people come to me before to tell me their experience of asking their church leaders about homosexuality. On one occasion, the church leader replied that the issue of whether or not homosexuality was wrong was a “grey area.” The problem with this is that this lady who came to tell me her experience (who is  for  homosexuality), told the church leader  before  he could reply, that she would not attend church if Christianity doesn’t allow homosexuality.   The thing is, there is absolutely no grey area in the Bible whatsoever about homosexuality. Defending Christian Doctrines

Throughout history, there have been a number of people with all different types of theological backgrounds who try to refute the orthodox views found in the Bible. There are people all the way from Jehovah’s Witnesses , to Mormonism to Evangelicalism who do not adhere to the truth found in the Bible. In any event, no one is capable of perfect theology, and for this reason, one’s ideas and such must be lined up with the Word of God.  It is this compass with which truth shall be revealed and fortunately for us, the Word of God is unchanging, and for good reason. The danger of unorthodox, false teachings and doctrines can lead someone astray from salvation and hinder someone from realizing God’s love. With this in mind, it seems to be a necessary duty to correct, rebuke and exhort with great patience and long suffering.
