Mormonism is replete in its scriptures with the idea that the God of Mormonism is the supreme being, as seen in three of their sacred texts below, which is not an exhaustive list:     Book of Mormon, Alma 11:22 “And Amulek said unto him: Yea, if it be according to the Spirit of the Lord, which is in me; for I shall say nothing which is contrary to the Spirit of the Lord. And Zeezrom said unto him: Behold, here are six onties of silver, and all these will I give thee if thou wilt deny the existence of a Supreme Being.”   Book of Mormon, Alma 30:44 “But Alma said unto him: Thou hast had signs enough; will ye tempt your God? Will ye say, Show unto me a sign, when ye have the testimony of all these thy brethren, and also all the holy prophets? The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do wit...

As I suggest (and arguably, Jesus suggests) in   Part One   of this series, demons are creatures of habit. A brief look at Matthew 12:43-45 reveals such:   When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first…   The reason for the return of the unclean spirit to the “house from which I came” is because even for a demon,  home is where the heart is . They are also “creatures of habit.” Pattern recognition is noteworthy, simply because information retrieved from memory is applied to a stimulus or the event of receiving new information.
