            Who is Jesus? Is He a man that just appeared through normal birth like everyone else   on the earth over two thousand years ago? Or is there something more to Him than that?             If we take a look at what He claimed, we can get an Idea of who He thinks He is exactly, which will give us a good idea where to start with this question of just who is Jesus.              “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (NIV John 14:6). Jesus clearly wasn’t bashful when speaking about where He fits into the lives of the people of the world. No one comes to the Father but through Him. What does that mean? It depends on what manner you are asking it in. No one comes to the Father , meaning, this is our goal, to get to the Father . This also means that there isn’t another way to be with the Fath...

Looking at 1 Thessalonians 4, with another passage, we find an interesting challenge . Let’s look at Thessalonians 4:13-18:   13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.   What this passage...
