In her book,   The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make , Joyce Meyer teaches that the gospel is that Jesus had to die spiritually, go to hell and become spiritually dead, that Jesus separated from God the Father on the cross, and that Jesus was the first born-again man from the dead. This is a common teaching in the Word of Faith movement, [1]   which seems (unfortunately) to creep into the minds of those who began their journey in sound doctrine but veer off because of such false teachers. Meyers writes in the latest edition of her book, “He became our sacrifice and died on the cross. He did not stay dead. He was in the grave three days. Mormonism teaches that those who are married in a temple can be married for eternity. It matters. The truth about Jesus matters . Just because some say and claim the name "Jesus" does not mean that they know the one true Jesus. There are a lot of distortions of Christianity that claim to be true religions . Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Islam , and scientology come to mind. As much as some of them claim to have the truth about Christ, it is impossible that all of them are true based on the law of non-contradiction, and there is something else very interesting that we should see. In the discussion of homosexuality, I always hear about how we should focus more on evangelizing those who identify as such and stop condemning the lifestyle and the person, etc. I feel like many Christians have stopped saying that homosexuality is wrong because they are more concerned with loving LGBTQ people but  love, by itself, is not the gospel .  Many people do not even know where to start in such a discussion, so this article seeks to get one started in a cordial discussion with one who identifies as LGBTQ.  Since people have such hardened hearts concerning such things, some direction in an often difficult conversation is beneficial.  I am also concerned with the idea that homosexuality and transgenderism is an acceptable, logical, and beneficial way to live.
