One of the main arguments I hear for it is that it is good because the mother is unable to afford or to take care of the baby. But everyone knows about adoption. So what now? Another argument I hear is that women will have abortions if Roe v Wade is reversed in back alleys and such, so we shouldn’t reverse it. But when is it ok to murder a baby? Is it ok to murder a baby when women will be getting infections because they have unsterile environments for abortion? Seriously? Please tell me a better reason, a more convincing reason when killing babies is ok.  Something else I have to mention is that it seems that pro-choice adherents think that pro-lifers and abolitionists believe that the baby is of more value than the woman, but this is not the case. Where is the line between, “Meeting people where they are at” and “having itching ears, people will accumulate for themselves teachers who suit their own passions?" It is interesting that Paul said, in a roundabout way, both of these statements. In 1 Corinthians 9:19-23, Paul clues us in to what he finds as the secret to witnessing… “To the Jews I become as a Jew...” How far should we become in order to reach people with the gospel? On the other hand, Paul also tells us that in the end times, Christians will listen to only what they want to hear. Is there a danger for our own spiritual health in “becoming all things to all men that we might by all means win some?” The Bible tells us to meet people where they are at, but what does this look like? How far do we go, morally speaking, to meet people where they are at? After all, God became a man and came to earth, so it seems that 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 is a picture of the gospel. But depending on how far we go with meeting people...

We have all seen preachers on the television making great boasts about how God wants to bless us and all we need is to have enough faith and that we will get whatever we want. I have personally heard them say on numerous occasions that God wants you to be happy, healthy and live a good long life. The problem with this is that there are people out there who do not have homes, or are severely handicapped, for example, yet are Christians. Are we really supposed to believe that these people just cannot measure up in having faith? Are we supposed to believe that someone with cancer just does not have enough faith to get well? For starters, the Bible clearly paints the picture that we have the privilege of asking God for things, but this does not, by any case, mean that everything we ask for will be granted to us… Nor does it teach that God owes us health and wealth, let alone promises it.
